Our fall program runs from September 15 until November 20, 2025.
Note that by selecting shift(s) here, you are committing to those shift(s) for the duration of our Fall 2025 program. We offer both Virtual and In-Person shifts.
In-person shifts require you to commute to an elementary school on the days you signed up for where we are hosting the program.

We are excited to announce an additional opportunity for our returning Youth Mentors this fall! Please indicate if you are interested in becoming a Lead Mentor below.
Each year, we invite some of our Youth Mentors to serve as Lead Mentors. Lead Mentors undergo additional training and share responsibility for running the program with our staff. They don't just mentor the younger Buddies, but also their peers.

In order for you to participate in Community Reading Buddies this summer, you also need to read and review a parent waiver .
